Which padel players are participating in the Hexagon Cup?
For the 2026 edition, the Hexagon Cup maintains its format of 8 teams presided over by major personalities (such as Robert Lewandowski, Eva Longoria, Andy Murray, or Rafa Nadal). Each team has a male pair, a female pair, and a "Next Gen" pair (up-and-coming talents).
Tickets are available for purchase through the official Hexagon Cup website: HEXAGONCUP.COM
For those who cannot attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on platforms such as DAZN and ITVX.
For the latest updates and team announcements, you can follow the official Hexagon Cup Instagram account.
Key Features of the Hexagon Cup 2026
The tournament uses a "Draft" system (player auction), and the exact pairs are confirmed just a few weeks before. That's the magic of this tournament: the pairs change every year!
Why aren't Coello and Tapia playing together?
Many fans are confused to see Arturo Coello with Coki Nieto (Team Bella) and Agustín Tapia with Jon Sanz (RL9 Team). It is vital to explain that this is a team tournament owned by famous people (like Lewandowski, Eva Longoria, or Andy Murray).
Unlike Premier Padel tournaments, where players register in free pairs, in the Hexagon Cup, the team owners have control. Each team chooses its players independently.
The organizers' goal is to make the tournament unpredictable and exciting. If Coello and Tapia played together, they would be such favorites that interest in the other matches might decrease. By separating them into different teams, new matchups are created that the public never sees during the rest of the year.
What is the Next Gen category?
Many ask who these young players are. They are the U-23 promises who score points for the global team.
Does it count for the FIP/Premier Padel ranking?
The answer is no; it is an official tournament endorsed by the FIP but it's a competitive exhibition, which allows for unprecedented player pairings.
Why can't you miss it?
The Hexagon Cup is not just a padel tournament; it is a global spectacle. It offers:
