Agustín Tapia (Darío Agustín Tapia Nievas) is, as of today, the world number 1 in the International Padel Federation ranking and one of the biggest stars in padel. Nox nicknames him «the Mozart of Catamarca» for his talent and creativity on court.
Born on 24 July 1999 in Catamarca (Argentina), he is 1.79 m tall, right-handed and plays on the backhand side. With Spain's Arturo Coello he forms the world number 1 pair, one of the duos that has defined the Premier Padel era. Together they have racked up numerous titles and opened the 2026 season by lifting precisely the Riyadh tournament, the stage that gives this Riyadh Season edition of his racket its name.
