Recommended Adidas racket weight and shape for beginners

What Adidas racket weight and shape are recommended for beginner players?

If you're new to padel and looking for an Adidas racket suitable for your first games, choosing the right weight and shape is key to enjoying the game from the start and improving your technique without the risk of injury. Padel rackets from Adidas offer a wide range of options tailored to beginners' needs.

Why is racket weight important for beginners?

The weight of the racket is one of the most crucial factors for a beginner. A racket that is too heavy can cause arm fatigue and make it harder to learn proper technique, while a racket that is too light may lack power and control. For beginners, it is recommended that the Adidas racket weighs between 350 and 365 grams. This range offers a good balance between maneuverability and control, two essential aspects at this stage.

Advantages of a lightweight racket for beginners

• Easier handling and reaction.
• Lower risk of elbow and wrist injuries.
• Makes it easier to practice basic strokes and adapt to the game.

What is the ideal Adidas racket shape for beginners?

The shape of the racket directly affects the sweet spot and style of play. For beginners, a round-shaped racket is often the best choice, as it offers a larger and more centered sweet spot, making it easier to control and return the ball. Adidas offers various models with this shape, specifically designed for learning and gradual improvement.

Advantages of a round shape in Adidas rackets

• Greater control of the ball.
• Larger sweet spot, reducing errors.
• Perfect for learning basic strokes and building confidence.

How to choose the right Adidas racket as you progress?

When starting out, it's best to prioritize control over power. As you advance and your technique improves, you may consider switching to teardrop or diamond-shaped rackets, which offer more power but require greater skill. It's important to regularly assess your sensations and progress in the game to decide if you need to adjust the racket's weight or shape.
