Requirements to register for the FISU World University Championship Padel

The FISU World University Championship Padel is one of the most prestigious university tournaments worldwide. Each edition brings together the best university padel players from around the globe, offering a unique opportunity to compete and represent their university and country. To participate, students must meet certain requirements established by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the corresponding national federations.

Age and academic eligibility

Participants must be between 17 and 25 years old in the year of the competition and be enrolled as university students or have graduated in the year prior to the event. It is essential to present documentation proving current university enrollment or a recently obtained degree.

National selection process

Most countries organize a national selection to choose the teams that will represent them in the championship. This process may include qualifying tournaments, physical tests, and technical assessments. Interested students should inquire with their country's university padel federation or their university's sports department.

To improve your game in these competitions, it is essential to have the best equipment. In the Padel Rackets section you will find models from leading brands such as Adidas and Bullpadel. Also, don't forget to choose quality padel shoes to ensure your performance on the court.

Documentation and steps for university registration

Once selected, students must gather and submit the required documentation. Generally, the following is requested:

• Official FISU registration form, signed by the university.
• Certificate of studies or current enrollment.
• Identity document or passport.
• Medical certificate of physical fitness.
• Recent passport photo.

Processing through the university

The registration process is usually managed through the university's sports department, which centralizes the information and coordinates with the national federation. It is advisable to start the procedure in advance to avoid last-minute problems.
